Laoe Edalai

and I have been doing an RP through e-mails for about a month now. We call it Bienfang. It takes place on Earth, mostly, in the year 25xx, and there is a satellite that orbits Earth now, called The Bienfang Institute. Its purpose is to collect beings called "Connexions"; they have the ability to bend space and dimension, physically moving through it to different locations with simply a thought. During a third world war about 200-300 years ago, Earth's surface was clouded in ash from a nuclear winter, and now the surviving humans are either living in Bienfang, or they've moved below Earth's surface, living in underground cities. Bienfang "recruits" people from Earth and other "worlds" to become Seekers; highly trained special forces that can locate and catch these Connexions.

No one defies The Institute, except this man. Six years ago, he defected from Bienfang. Until a few days ago, they thought he was dead, but he returned to the Institute to kidnap a Connexion he had put in there himself. Now he's intent on bringing the Institute down.

It's a mix of original and fan-based; Laoe is a Hylian, so obviously Hyrule is out there some where. Most is strictly original, though, save a few characters here and there.

He doesn't have a birth defect with that blue eye, by the way c: he's been with the Institute for a long time, and it supplies special devices to the Seeker known as Seeker Eyes. These days, some one can pick any color, but originally they only came in blue; the surgery wasn't very fun for him, and so he hasn't upgraded since.
